Τις προτάσεις για την Ελληνόγλωσση Εκπαίδευση στη Διασπορά, όπως διατυπώθηκαν από τις Περιφέρειες του Συμβουλίου Απόδημου Ελληνισμού (ΣΑΕ) των Η.Π.Α., της Άπω Ανατολής και Ωκεανίας και της Κεντρικής και Νοτίου Αμερικής, απέστειλε στην Αναπληρωτή
Υπουργό Παιδείας, Δια βίου Εκπαίδευσης και Θρησκευμάτων, Φώφη Γεννηματά, ο Πρόεδρος της οργάνωσης, Στέφανος Ταμβάκης.
Οι προτάσεις κατατέθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του ανοιχτού διαλόγου του Υπουργείου Παιδείας, ενόψει την ψήφιση του σχετικού νέου Νόμου.
Στην επιστολή του προς την Αναπληρωτή Υπουργό Παιδείας, ο κ. Ταμβάκης ευχαριστεί τηςν κα Γεννηματά για τις πρωτοβουλίες που ανέλαβε και την ουσιαστική και αποτελεσματική συνεργασία, που ανέπτυξε με το ΣΑΕ και τις Ομογενειακές Οργανώσεις, από την πρώτη ημέρα ανάληψης των καθηκόντων της.
«Είμαστε στη διάθεσή σας και θα συνεχίσουμε τη συνεργασία μας, στις επόμενες φάσεις, μέχρι την τελική ψήφιση του Νομοσχεδίου για την Ελληνόγλωσση Εκπαίδευση, κυρίως δε κατά την εφαρμογή και υλοποίησή του, αφού άλλωστε η Ελληνική Γλώσσα και η Παιδεία των Ομογενών αποτελούν πρωταρχικό και κυρίαρχο ζήτημα για όλους μας. Είναι η πρώτη μας προτεραιότητα και φροντίζουμε ώστε οι περισσότερες δράσεις μας να κινούνται γύρω από αυτό τον άξονα», τονίζει-μεταξύ άλλων- ο Πρόεδρος του ΣΑΕ.

Proposal submission by the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) on Greek Language Education for Hellenism abroad
The President of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE), Mr. Stefanos P. Tamvakis sent the Alternate Minister of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs, Ms. Fofi Gennimata, the proposals submitted by SAE Regions on Greek Language Education for the Greek Diaspora. The submission of proposals was made within the framework of the open consultation initiated by the Ministry, in view of the new bill voting.
“In response to your letter – invitation to participate, exercising our advisory and consultative role in the public consultation for Greek Language Education for Hellenes Abroad, I am submitting the proposals as planned by the three major regions of Hellenism, those of the U.S.A, Far East & Oceania and Central and South America”, states Mr. Tamvakis in his formal letter addressed to Ms. Gennimata, while thanking her for her initiatives and substantial and efficient collaboration with SAE and Diaspora Organizations right from first day of assuming her duties.
“We are at your disposal and we will continue our collaboration on the subsequent phases, until the final voting of the Bill on Greek Language Education, particularly in the implementation phase, since the Greek Language and the Education of Greeks Abroad are issues of prime importance for all of us. This is our first priority and we ensure that most of our actions revolve around this axis”, states the President of SAE.
